It's about the soprano Montserrat Cabballe doing something in that house (Comella is a family name) in 1950. Living or singing, I would guess, but Catalan dictionaries on the web aren't very good, so can't find the meaning of the word. And some kind of association put the plaque there to commemorate that time. Where's Alderson when you need him?!

Lived in this house during the year 1950
The association of olden times have recorded this in memory of the time he spent here.
And I don't even speak furrin.
